Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Vancouver

On January 24(Tue) Consul General Jongho Kyun met with Linell Redmond, Director of Vancouver International Airport at the Canada Border Services Agency, and requested that the airport authorities continue to ensure that Korean travelers entering Canada through Vancouver International Airport do not experience any inconvenience.

Director Redmond that there are 14 regular flights between Incheon and Vancouver every week, and that about 100,000 Koreans enter Canada through YVR every year, and that she will continue to make efforts to ensure that Koreans do not experience any inconveniences.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Korea-Canada diplomatic ties this year, Consul General Kyun requested cooperation from the CBSA to further expand people-to-people exchanges as well as exchanges of high-ranking officials.
