Countries in Asia and the Pacific have made great strides in poverty reduction and economic growth in the last 50 years. However, unfinished development agendas remain, including the need to further improve health outcomes and attain and sustain universal health coverage (UHC). ADB, the Government of Japan, and the World Health Organization (WHO) are jointly hosting this seminar, bringing together finance and health ministers to discuss accelerating progress toward UHC in Asia and the Pacific in the new COVID-19 era.
