1. Minister for Trade Bark Tae-ho will visit Siem Reap, Cambodia, on August 29-30 to attend the 9th ASEAN-ROK, the 15th ASEAN+3 and the 1st East Asia Summit (EAS) Economic Ministers’ Meetings.

2. In the ASEAN-ROK Economic Ministers’ Meeting, the two sides will review the progress in the implementation of the ASEAN-ROK FTA and discuss the plan to further liberalize the items under the agreements on goods and services as well the economic cooperation projects under the ASEAN-ROK FTA.

3. In the ASEAN+3 and the EAS meetings, the ministers will discuss the cooperation in East Asia and global economic issues, including those related with the WTO, G-20, APEC, sustainable development, and the TPP.

° In particular, a separate meeting of the economic ministers of ASEAN member states and ASEAN’s six dialogue partner countries (the ROK, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and India) will take place for a discussion on preparations for a Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and other issues related with the economic integration in the region.

4. On the sidelines of the aforementioned meetings, Minister Bark will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from China, India, Australia and New Zealand.
