●Application Period: September 12 ~ October 4, 2024 (Until 24:00H)
●Application Review Results: October 11, 2024
●Interview: October 17, 2024
●Announcement of Successful Candidate: October 18, 2024
* Only successful applicants will be notified for both application review and interview.
* Please be advised that the above-mentioned schedule is subject to change.
* Mode of the interview(in-person or online interview) will be announced on Oct 11.

4. Notices for Submission
●All documents must be A4 sized (210 x 297 millimeters or 8 ¼ x 11 ¾ inch) and arranged in the order specified on the Application Checklist included on the first page of the application forms. Each document must be numbered and labeled in the top right corner (ex: 9. Proof of Citizenship).
●Applicants must submit a total of two envelopes only: one (1) envelope for the original documents and one (1) envelope for the three (3) photocopied sets. Additionally, the recommendation letter must be sealed and signed by the recommender. Only one (1) recommendation letter is needed.
●Label the application with your name and "GKS Application.”
●Applications will only be accepted via mail courier services (e.g., LBC, DHL, JRS). Submissions via email or fax will NOT be considered. Please DO NOT submit the application to the consular section.
●If using a same-day courier service (e.g., Grab, Lalamove), please address the delivery to “KGSP In-charge” and use the contact number (02) 8856-9210. Riders are NOT allowed to call the recipient or enter the embassy. Instead, they should leave the documents with the embassy guards upon arrival.
●The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Manila is NOT liable for any loss of document that may occur during delivery.
●Applicants may submit an official high school graduation certificate (or diploma) or Associate degree certificate (or Diploma). Applicants who are expected to graduate must submit an official certificate of expected graduation with a clear indication of the expected graduation date.
○Applicants who are expected to graduate must submit their graduation or degree certificate by December 31, 2024. Failure to provide the certificate by this date will result in the cancellation of acceptance.
5. Notices for Application
●PLEASE READ CAREFULLY the attached 2024 GKS-U Guidelines and FAQs and follow all instructions therein.
●All applicant original documents must be presented in their original forms and apostilled. For applicants whose certificate (e.g. diploma) is issued only once, it is strongly recommended to apostille on a certified true copy of the certificate and keep the original certificate.
* On 14 May 2019, the Republic of the Philippines became a party to the Apostille Convention. Therefore, documents issued in the Republic of the Philippines must be apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Republic of the Philippines.
