PAF and ROKAF to hold air show to celebrate PHL-Sokor 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines, 대한민국 공군 (Republic of Korea Air Force) and the Philippine Air Force and the co-hosted the Black Eagles Airshow and Friendship Flight on 3 March at Clark Air Base in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. 

The event commenced with a special friendship flight, showcasing four FA-50PH aircraft piloted by Filipino aviators alongside eight T-50B aircraft flown by their South Korean counterparts. The Republic of Korea Air Force Aerobatic Team, Black Eagles 블랙이글스 left the audience in awe with astonishing aerial maneuvers, painting vibrant streaks in the sky as a symbol of the colorful diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Notable attendees included Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa, Secretary of Defense Teodoro, MGen Park Changkyu, LtGen Arthur M Cordura PAF, Acting Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines; LtGen Stephen P Parreño PAF, Commanding General, PAF; and MGen Augustine S Malinit PAF, Vice Commander, PAF.

The three-day airshow also featured an exhibit of different Korean defense companies.
