Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Zimbabwe

Ambassador PARK Jae Kyung arrived at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Harare, Zimbabwe in June 2023. He was previously the Director General of the ASEAN and the Southeast Asian Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ottawa, Canada.

Since joining the Republic of Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994, Mr. Park has had extensive experience at the MOFA headquarters, including the North American Affairs Bureau, the European Affairs Bureau, as well as the ASEAN and Southeast Asian Affairs Bureau. Furthermore, he has also served at Missions abroad, including the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Canada, Indonesia, Myanmar, the U.K., and Serbia.

Mr. Park holds a BA from Seoul National University and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
