1. Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha held a Republic of Korea-United States foreign ministerial meeting with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the US Department of State, Washington DC, on the afternoon of March 29 (local time).

2. In the meeting, the Minister and the Secretary shared assessments of the situation in the wake of the second US-North Korea summit and discussed ways to move forward. They also exchanged views on a variety of bilateral, regional and global matters of mutual interest.
