1. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Grigoris Niotis will visit the Republic of Korea 
between June 4-6, 2001. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Choi Sung-hong will meet with Deputy 
Minister Niotis on June 5, 2001, to exchange views on the recent situation on the Korean peninsula, and also 
discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation in various areas including politics, economy and trade. 

2. Prior to his visit to the ROK, Deputy Minister Niotis will also visit Thailand and Japan in efforts to uplift the 
relationships between Greece and the countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
