1.      The Korean government will hold the 4th round of negotiations with China regarding the imposition of 
customs duties on rice, on September 14th, 2004.

2.      The Korean delegation, headed by Mr. Lee Jae-gil, Ambassador for DDA Negotiations at the Ministry of 
Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT), will consist of relevant government agencies such as the Ministry of 
Agriculture and Forestry, and the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

3.      The Korean government will also schedule meetings with other countries participating in this process, 
including Australia, Argentina, India, Pakistan, and Egypt, with the aim of holding negotiations within 
September.
