1. The Government of the Republic of Korea expresses serious concerns about the recently increasing 
tension in the Kashmir region and the threat to regional stability, which have been caused by terrorist 
attacks in the Jammu area on May 14 and the following exchanges of fire along the Line of Control between 
India and Pakistan.

 
2. The Korean government urges the governments of India and Pakistan to make every effort to resolve the 
situation in a peaceful manner and hopes that the regional stability will be recovered at an early date by the 
efforts of both sides.
