1. The 16th Korea-China Joint Committee on Economy, Trade and Technology Cooperation 
will be held in Seoul on November 27. The Committee is being held regularly for broad 
discussions on issues related to bilateral economy and trade cooperation.

2. Deputy Minister for Trade, Mr. Ahn, Ho-young will be the top envoy for Korea, with other 
Korean participants including members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the 
Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry 
and Fisheries, the Korea Food and Drug Administration and the Korea Communications 
Commission. For China, Vice Minister of Commerce, Mr. Chen Jian will be the top envoy, with 
other participants from China including members of the Ministry of Commerce and the 
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

3. At the meeting, the two sides will discuss ways to develop economic and trade relations 
between Korea and China as well as address the issues on trade relief measures, investment 
facilitation measures for Korean companies, the protection of intellectual property right, the 
protection of personal information and cooperation measures on financial, aviation areas as 
well as on multilateral fora.
