1. The Government of the Republic of Korea expresses concern over massive loss of life incurred by 
the recent ethnic conflict in southern Kyrgyzstan and offers its deepest sympathy and condolences to 
the victims and their families.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea hopes that the current unrest will be settled shortly and 
that stability and order in Kyrgyzstan will also be restored at an early date. The Government of the 
Republic of Korea will take an active part in the international community’s assistance efforts to this end.
