1. Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Jae-shin will meet with his Russian counterpart Alexey Borodavkin for 
the 12th Korea-Russia Deputy-Ministerial Policy Consultation in Moscow, Russia, on October 21.

2. In the meeting, the two Deputy Ministers will discuss major matters of mutual concern, including ways 
to expand substantive cooperation with a view to a stronger bilateral strategic and cooperative partnership, 
and to work more closely together on regional and global issues.

3. The Korea-Russia Deputy-Ministerial Policy Consultation, a high-level consultative framework convened 
regularly since 1998 to discuss and cooperate on major bilateral, regional and global issues, was last 
held in Seoul in 2010.
