1. The Government of the Republic of Korea strongly protests Japanese Prime Minister Noda’s reiteration of unjust claims to Dokdo, which is clearly an integral part of Korean territory historically, geographically, and under international law, and demands immediate withdrawal of his remarks.

2. Japan should no longer reiterate unjust claims to the territory of the Republic of Korea but make efforts to develop future-oriented relations between the Republic of Korea and Japan, based on a correct understanding of history.
