1. The 19th ROK-China Meeting for a Comprehensive Review of Economic Cooperation will be held in Beijing on September 27, with Kim Seung-ho, Director-General for Bilateral Economic Affairs of the ROK Foreign Ministry, and Chen Zhou, Director of the Asian Affairs Department of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, as heads of their respective delegations.

2. At the forthcoming meeting, the two sides will assess the ROK-China economic cooperation in all its aspects and review the implementation of agreements reached on economy during the ROK-China summit. They will also hold extensive discussions on a variety of agenda, including the current state of bilateral economic cooperation in each area, ways to resolve problems facing companies of both countries and ways to find new areas for cooperation.

o In particular, this will be the first meeting to comprehensively study the agreements on economy since the ROK-China summit in June, 2013. The meeting is expected to continue the momentum for cooperation created by the leaders of the two countries and to help make more substantive progress in the ROK-China strategic cooperative partnership.

3. The meeting, originally named working-level talks on trade, is a director-general-level regular consultation that has been held since 1993. The name of the meeting has been replaced this year to cover not only trade and commerce but also economic cooperation in various fields.
