1. The 2nd forum on economic cooperation between the ROK and the three northeast provinces of China -- Jilin, Liaoning and Heilongjiang -- will take place in Seoul on October 25, co-hosted by the ROK Foreign Ministry (Consulate General in Shenyang), the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the governments of the three Chinese provinces.

° The Chinese delegation will consist of 100 people, including Deputy Governor of Jilin Province Wang Huawen and other key government officials as well as entrepreneurs. The ROK delegation will be composed of 120 key government officials and business people, including First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Kyou-hyun and Consul-General to Shenyang Cho Baek-sang.

2. At the forum, the two sides will explain to each other their respective investment environments and build a business network between the two countries. Furthermore, they will exchange views on ways to expand in a future-oriented manner economic cooperation between the ROK and the three Chinese provinces, which have emerged as one of the four spearheads of economic growth in China.

3. The forum was first held in Jilin province in 2012 as one of the commemorative events for the 20th anniversary of the ROK-China diplomatic relations. The forum to be held in Seoul will mark the second of its kind.
