1. The Government of the Republic of Korea expresses its deep concerns over the rapidly worsening situations of late in the Gaza Strip and southern Israel.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea condemns the large-scale rocket attacks on Israel by armed groups in the Gaza Strip and is concerned over Palestinians being sacrificed in counterattacks by Israel.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea demands that all parties concerned immediately stop attacks on each other so as to prevent any further sacrifices of innocent civilians, and exercise maximum restraint of actions that can lead to escalation of tensions between Israel and Palestine.
