1. The Government of the Republic of Korea condemns the attack on worshipers that occurred in a synogogue in west Jerusalem on November 18 and extends its deep condolences to the bereaved families of the victims.

2. In addition, the Government of the Republic of Korea is deeply concerned over the Israeli government’s recent decisions to construct settlement units in east Jerusalem and urges all the parties concerned to refrain from any unilateral actions that can escalate tensions and to make joint efforts to ease tensions.
