1. The 194th meeting of the Republic of Korea-United States Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) Joint Committee will take place at the Yongsan Garrison on December 9. The ROK representative, the Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for North American Affairs Moon Seoung-hyun, and the US representative, Deputy Commander of US Forces Korea Jan-Marc Jouas, will co-chair the meeting.

2. In the upcoming meeting, the two sides will review the ongoing implementation of SOFA, including in the fields of environment, noise, the facility zone and criminal affairs, and discuss ways to better implement and advance SOFA.
