1. With regard to the terrorist attacks that occurred on the northern Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, last week and killed many innocent people, the Government of the Republic of Korea offers its deep condolence to the Egyptian government and the bereaved families of the victims.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea reaffirms its stern and consistent position that such acts of terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances.

3. In addition, the Government of the Republic of Korea hopes that Egypt will eradicate acts of terrorism as soon as possible to ensure public safety and stability, and will make efforts toward national development.
