1. Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Hwang Joon-kook will visit Moscow, Russia, from February 23 through 25 to meet with Igor Morgulov, Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of Asia-Pacific affairs and Russian head delegate to the Six-Party Talks. In the meeting, the two sides will discuss the overall situation on the Korean Peninsula and in particular, ways to address the North Korean nuclear issue down the road, including resuming denuclearization talks.

2. During his visit to Russia, Special Representative Hwang will also meet with Korean Peninsula experts to exchange views on the full range of North Korean issues, including its nuclear program.
