1. The Government of the Republic of Korea cannot but be outraged over the brutal murder of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians by a terrorist group in Libya that follows the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). The ROK government extends its deepest condolence to the Egyptian government and the bereaved families of the victims.

2. The ROK government, with its firm and consistent position that acts of terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances, will continue to participate in resolute efforts of the international community to eradicate acts of terrorism.
