The Turkish side said they became confident that the ROK is a safe travel destination.

o The ROK side also requested the Turkish side to work to enhance convenience for Korean companies and people in Turkey, including by improving procedures for issuing work permits and renewing residence permits. The two sides agreed to continue to discuss specific improvement measures in each area.

o The two sides also had constructive discussions on other issues regarding promotion of exchanges, including concluding a working holiday agreement and implementing a memorandum of understanding on police cooperation.
