1. The Foreign Ministry will hold at the annex building of the Government Complex Seoul on June 17 the launching ceremony of the “Citizens for Public Diplomacy” group under the title of “High Five! Korea!: Citizens for Public Diplomacy.”

2. The launching ceremony will bring together some 300 people, including members of the “Citizens for Public Diplomacy” group and other nationals of the Republic of Korea with keen interest in the country’s public diplomacy. The event will consist of various programs, including the release of the campaign song for the ROK’s public diplomacy titled “High Five! Korea!” and a music video on the country’s public diplomacy activities.

3. The event is expected to serve as a valuable opportunity for the ROK nationals to learn more about and take part in the country’s public diplomacy, as well as to introduce it to foreigners.

4. The Foreign Ministry will render more support to the “Citizens for Public Diplomacy” group in an effort for the ROK nationals to use their talent to build a Korea that is charming and trusted by the global community.
