1. The Foreign Ministry will hold the launching ceremony of the “fifth group of supporters for global green growth” at the Ministry on July 5 as well as a “green growth camp” for them in Hwaseong, south of Seoul, from July 5 to 8.

° At the fifth green growth camp, the participating students will learn about the green environmental diplomacy; be given lectures on such major international issues as climate change, energy, green industry and water as well as English language classes related to international conferences; and visit Sihwa Lake Tidal Power Station, activities that will help raise their awareness on green growth.

2. Starting in 2016, the green growth camp will last longer -- four days, one day longer than the previous rounds -- and feature more programs, including making environment-related blogs in teams, producing user-created contents (UCCs) and attending conferences at home and other activities.

3. Those who complete the supporters’ program that will last until November and submit a paper or policy proposal on green growth or climate change by September will receive certificates of completion signed by the Foreign Minister.

4. The activities as supporters for green growth are expected to serve as a good opportunity for the undergraduate and graduate students, who want to work in the field of international cooperation on green growth, to gain knowledge and experience with regard to such main international issues as green growth, climate change and energy.
