1. The Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) will host the 9th KNDA Lecture Series in a conference room on the second floor of the KNDA building on March 10 from 15:00 to 16:30.

o The KNDA will host a series of special lectures about the ROK’s foreign policy direction given by eminent scholars as part of the KNDA Lecture Series in order to share the experiences and views of four great scholars, who have made significant contributions in the ROK’s politics, economy, foreign affairs and security, and to gather wisdom about the ROK’s foreign policy direction.

2. The third lecturer of the special lecture series, Korea University’s emeritus professor Choi Sang-yong (former ambassador to Japan), will give a lecture on the ROK-Japan relations.

o Following the lecture by professor Choi, KNDA Chancellor Yun Duk-min will chair a Q & A session with an audience.

3. The upcoming lecture is expected to serve as an important opportunity to discuss the ROK’s foreign policy direction to overcome unprecedentedly difficult global environment facing the ROK in 2017.

o The KNDA will work to help Koreans better understand various diplomatic issues by continuing to host KNDA Lecture Series.
