1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will co-host the 5th K-Pharma Academy from March 27 to 31 and hold various related events in six cities, including Seoul, Sejong and Osong.

2. The K-Pharma Academy will be attended by high-level officials, including the director of Cenabast (Supply Center for the Ministry of Health) of Chile, and the deputy minister of the Ministry of Health of Argentina.

3. On the last day of the event, a forum on strategies for making inroads into the Latin American pharmaceutical and medical facility markets will take place. In the forum, explanations on Latin America’s licensing system for medicines and medical facilities will be provided. One-on-one meetings between Korean companies and Latin American officials in charge of licensing will also take place to support the establishment of networks between Korean companies and healthcare authorities in Latin America.
