1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the “1st ROK-Japan-China Trilateral Cooperation UCC (User Created Contents) Competition” from April 21 to May 31 to increase public interest in trilateral cooperation among the ROK, Japan and China and promote mutual understanding and friendship among the three countries.

2. A total of 241 people from the ROK, Japan and China (team or individual), including middle and high school students, college students, office workers, and housewives, participated in the competition and submitted 93 UCC videos.

3. The Foreign Ministry formed an evaluation committee for preliminary and final competitions to evaluate the entries received, and conducted an evaluation based on various criteria, including the adequacy of the theme, the effectiveness of message delivery, the overall quality of the video, and creativity. As a result, 26 UCC videos won awards (1 first prize, 5 second prizes, and 20 encouragement prizes).

4. The latest UCC Competition served as an opportunity to increase public interest in and understanding of the trilateral cooperation. The awards ceremony and screening will take place in late July.
