1. In a move to make young Koreans more interested in building presence at international organizations, the Foreign Ministry’s International Organizations Recruitment Center is holding “the 2017 essay contest on work experiences at international organizations.”

2. Anyone who has gained work experiences at any one of the various international organizations, including as interns or volunteers, can participate in the contest. The International Organizations Recruitment Center will choose four to five winners in December.

° Anyone who has joined the Junior Professional Officers (JPO) programme, the UN Volunteers (UNV) programme and internships at other international organizations can participate in the contest by emailing their entries to the International Organizations Recruitment Center website at www.UNrecruit.go.kr between November 13 and December 8. The Center will post the results on its and the Foreign Ministry’s websites in mid-December.
