1. Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on July 2 and 3 at the invitation of Foreign Minister Abdullah of the country.

2. During her visit to the UAE, Minister Kang will hold the third Republic of Korea-UAE foreign ministerial strategic dialogue on July 3 to discuss ways that the two countries can work comprehensively together to step up the “special strategic partnership” forged between them during the ROK President’s visit to the UAE in March.

※ The ROK-UAE foreign ministerial strategic dialogue is held pursuant to the bilateral “memorandum of understanding on strategic dialogue between the Foreign Ministries” concluded in March 2011.
