With regard to the attack on oil tankers that occurred in the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz on June 13, the government of the Republic of Korea views the attack as a serious threat to the safety of navigation of vessels; condemns any action that undermines energy security and regional stability; and supports relevant parties’ efforts to prevent similar attacks.
