1. The government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the discussions held recently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the resolution of the situation in Yemen. The Korean government appreciates the ongoing efforts of relevant countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, towards achieving peace and stability in Yemen.

2. The government of Korea hopes that the discussions in Riyadh will contribute to easing the tension in the region and bringing durable peace in Yemen.
