1. Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul will hold the 10th Republic of Korea–India Joint Commission Meeting with External Affairs Minister of India Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Seoul on March 6.
2. The Joint Commission Meeting, the first since both Ministers took office and in six years since 2018, is expected to serve as an opportunity to further strengthen the “Special Strategic Partnership” with India, a key country in the Indo-Pacific region that shares values with Korea, in various fields such as high-level exchanges, defense and the defense industry, economic security, science and technology, and regional and global issues.
