1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the launching ceremony of the fourth group of KOREAZ Supporters on May 3 at the Foreign Ministry. During the ceremony, the Foreign Ministry appointed 22 young people (11 Korean students, 11 international students) as new KOREAZ Supporters, who will play a leading role in expanding the interest and participation of Korean and foreign youth in Korea’s public diplomacy.

2. In her congratulatory remarks, Ms. Lee Kyung-ah, Director General of the Public Diplomacy and Cultural Affairs Bureau at the Foreign Ministry, iterated that the private sector and public diplomacy are playing an increasingly important role. She went on to voice her hope that the Supporters will experience and learn more about public diplomacy and interact with young people around the world.

3. The fourth group of KOREAZ Supporters will conduct various online and offline activities such as covering major diplomatic, including public, events, creating digital content on public diplomacy in teams, and participating in various campaigns.

4. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to diversify its digital public diplomacy efforts by actively embracing new ideas from young people.
