1. The government of the Republic of Korea expresses its grave concern over Israel’s recent decisions regarding the expansion of settlements in the West Bank, such as the legalization of illegal outposts and the large-scale land seizure.

The construction of the settlements is against international law and undermines not only the viability of a two-state solution but also the international community’s efforts to reduce tensions in the region. The government of the Republic of Korea calls on the Israeli government to reverse its decisions.

3. In addition, the government of the Republic of Korea urges the relevant parties to refrain from all actions that escalate tension and to prioritize efforts to end the crisis in the Gaza Strip.
