1. The 1st Round of the ROK-Jamaica Policy Consultations will be held in Kingston, Jamaica, on 
September 24.  The ROK and Jamaican delegations will be headed by Director-General of the Latin 
American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Han Byung-kil, and 
Under-Secretary for Bilateral and Regional Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, 
Paul Anthony Robotham, respectively.

2. The two sides plan to take this opportunity to discuss various issues of mutual interest including 
regional situations, high-level exchanges between the two countries, ways to enhance cooperation in the 
international arena and economic cooperation.

3. The 1st Round of the ROK-Jamaica Policy Consultations is expected to significantly contribute to 
strengthening of friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries.
