1. The Foreign Ministry has designated entire Jamaica as Travel-alert Level 1 (Precautious) region
as of May 26.

ㅇ As the security situation in Jamaica is deteriorating because of recent bloodshed, Korean
nationals staying in Jamaica are asked to pay heed to their own safety.

2. Also, considering the fact that anti-government demonstrations in Thailand have been subdued
and the Thai government lifted the siege of protest site in Bangkok, the Foreign Ministry has lowered
the Travel-alert Level for the Ratchaprasong area in Bangkok from the Level 3 (Travel Restricted) to
Level 2 (Highly Cautious) as of May 26.

ㅇ As the current Travel-alert Level 2 (Highly Cautious) will be maintained for Bangkok, Korean
nationals staying in Bangkok are asked to pay more heed to their own safety. Those who have been
planning to visit the city are requested to reconsider their need to travel.
