1. The Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for Northeast Asian Affairs Chung Byung-won will meet with Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau Kimihiro Ishikane of the Japanese Foreign Ministry in Tokyo on March 22.

2. In the meeting, the two sides will extensively discuss matters of mutual concern, including ways to implement follow-up measures to the Republic of Korea-Japan agreement on the “comfort women” issue, which was concluded on December 28, 2015.
