1. The eleventh Republic of Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Senior Foreign Officials' Consultation will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on August 21, with Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Kim Hyoung-zhin of the ROK Foreign Ministry, Deputy Minister Takeo Akiba of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, and Vice Minister Liu Zhenmin of the Chinese Foreign Ministry leading their respective delegations.

2. The Trilateral Senior Foreign Officials' Consultation is a major channel for dialogue on the trilateral cooperation, along with the summit talks, the Foreign Ministers’ meeting and the Deputy Director-General-level meeting among the three countries. The Consultation has taken place ten times since the first one in March 2007.
