1. The “eighth in the lecture series of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA)” will take place at the KNDA on February 24.

° The KNDA is offering a special lecture series titled “scholar’s suggestions on the way forward for the Republic of Korea’s diplomacy.” The special series serve as an opportunity to learn from experiences, knowledge and insights of four scholars who have contributed greatly in political, economic, foreign and security affairs of the ROK and to muster wisdom with regard to the future direction of the ROK’s diplomacy.

2. The second in the special lecture series will feature a lecture on “strategies for multilateral economic negotiations: OECD cases” by President Kim Choong-soo of Hallym University.

3. The forthcoming lecture is expected to offer significant implications on the direction of the ROK’s foreign policy amid the unprecedentedly challenging international situation facing the ROK in 2017.

° Going forward, the KNDA will continue offering the lecture series in an effort to help the ROK people learn more about various diplomatic issues.
