1. The government of the Republic of Korea expresses deep concern over civilians having been killed or wounded in the lately continued shooting attacks on protesters by security forces of the Republic of the Sudan; and condemns Sudanese security forces’ armed repression of peaceful demonstrations.

2. The government of the Republic of Korea hopes that in order to prevent a further loss of lives, Sudanese security forces will immediately stop using force and resume dialogue with the opposition; and that a civilian-led government, which reflects the Sudanese people’s democratic aspiration, will be formed as soon as possible.
