1. The on-site inspection team of the Host City Selection Committee for 2025 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) conducted an on-site inspection of the three candidate cities -- Gyeongsangbuk-do Gyeongju, Incheon Metropolitan City, and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (in Korean alphabetical order) -- from May 20th to 22nd.

*The on-site inspection team consists of around 20 people, with Dr. Chul-won Kim (Professor at Kyung Hee University) as the head of the On-site Inspection Team

2. The on-site inspection team carried out thorough assessment and evaluation on various factors in each candidate city, including convention facilities, accomodations, airport facilities, transportation, security and safety conditions.

3. The evaluation results will be reported to the third meeting of the Host City Selection Committee, which is to be held in early June. In addition, at the third meeting of the Host City Selection Committee, each candidate city will present its plans for hosting the 2025 AELM, and have a Q&A session with the members of the Host City Selection Committee.

4. The Host City Selection Committee will combine the results of the inspection, the presentations and other evaluation processes, and prepare a draft proposal for the selection of the 2025 AELM host city, in order to finalize the 2025 APEC Host City selection process.
