1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated the call for proposals for the 9th Mekong-ROK Cooperation Fund (MKCF) projects on Monday, February 17.
2. The MKCF was established in 2013 to support the sustainable development of the five Mekong countries. (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam.)
3. Entities eligible to apply for the MKCF project call include:
- Government agencies/Autonomous Organization from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam (CLMTV) and organizations from the ROK.
- Academic institutions, and training institutes from CLMTV and the ROK.
- International Organizations, including UN Agencies, and other International Non-Governmental Organizations having operating offices in the Mekong countries and the ROK.
4. Interested institutions must submit a Expression of Interest(EOI)* in English via email** by Monday, March 31, 2025.
* Please refer to Annex 1 for the EOI template.
** Institutions in the ROK and the International Organizations(regardless of the registered address) should submit their proposals to the Southeast Asia Division 2 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (rokmekong2014@mofa.go.kr).
*** Institutions within the Mekong region should submit their proposals to their respective national Ministry of Foreign Affairs (email addresses available in Annex 2).
