1. The government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the signing of the treaty on the state border between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan by their Presidents on March 13.

2. As a key partner of Central Asia, the ROK government hopes that the spirit of cooperation shown by the two countries during the course of their negotiations on border delimitation will contribute to the peace, stability and prosperity in the Central Asian region. The ROK government also hopes that this achievement will help further promote friendship and cooperation between Korea and the Central Asian countries.
