Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin will have a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Eswatini Thulisile Dladla on the morning of September 1.

With this year marking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Korea-Eswatini diplomatic relations, the two sides will review the progress in the implementation of the follow-up on the meeting between the two countries’ Prime Ministers held in Seoul in April and discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation.

Foreign Minister Park will also take the opportunity to ask for the attendance of King Mswati III in the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit to take place in Korea next year as well as support of Eswatini for Korea’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in Busan.
