Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will run a temporary office in Hangzhou during the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou to help ensure the safety of Korean nationals.

With the Asian Games partially coinciding with Korea’s traditional holiday break, numerous Koreans are expected to visit Hangzhou.

Accordingly, the Foreign Ministry will provide local safety information as necessary on the Ministry’s website on safe overseas travel and those of its diplomatic missions in China, among others.

The Foreign Ministry will also do its best in helping Korean nationals pay heed to their safety and prevent themselves from getting involved in any incidents or accidents.
