Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Jongmoon will deliver opening remarks at the “3^rd Inter-Regional Conference on Cyber/ICT Security” to take place on June 22-23.

In his opening remarks, Vice Minister Choi will explain Korea’s role and contribution and underscore the need for international cooperation in the global cybersecurity landscape that has changed since the outbreak of COVID-19.

At the Conference to be held in a virtual format, officials and experts from governments and international organizations as well as academia and businesses will discuss “interregional cybersecurity cooperation between Asia and Europe.”
