Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Jong Kun will visit Iran in his capacity as representative of the Korean government from August 4 to 6 to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s President-elect Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, scheduled for Thursday, August 5.

During his visit to Iran, Vice Minister Choi will meet with Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and discuss issues related to Korea-Iran relations.
