Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul will visit Belgium from April 3 to 5 to attend the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). 

On April 4, Foreign Minister Cho will attend a session of the North Atlantic Council with Indo-Pacific Partners, where he will discuss global security challenges and the situation in the Indo-Pacific, and express Korea’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with NATO, which shares universal values with Korea.

During his visit to Belgium, Foreign Minister Cho will hold separate bilateral meetings with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg as well as the foreign ministers of major countries, and discuss a range of issues, including ways to enhance mutual cooperation.
